How to apply for WBCS 2023 Recruitment @wbpsc.gov.in
To apply, an aspirant has to follow the steps given below:
Step 1:
First, visit the WBPSC official website @wbpsc.gov.in.
Step 2:
On the homepage, an aspirant has to select the option of OTR (One-time registration).
Step 3:
Complete the OTR by registering yourself. You’ll receive the Login credentials through mail and sms.
Step 4:
Use these login credentials to log in to the official website and select the WBCS Exam 2023 link.
Step 5:
Fill in all the required details such as personal details, and educational details, and upload the necessary documents like a photograph and signature.

WBCS 2023 Selection Process
There will be 3 phases in the selection process. Candidates who will clear all three phases will be selected for the exam.
1. Preliminary Exam
The preliminary exam will be qualifying in nature. Candidates have to qualify for the cut-off marks to clear the WBCS Prelims Exam to get shortlisted for the Main Exam. The preliminary exam will be an MCQ-based exam and it will be 200 marks.

2. Main Exam
Candidates who will qualify for the prelims will get a chance to appear on WBCS Mains Exam. The main examination will be subjective. It will consist of 6 compulsory papers and one optional paper. The optional paper will further consist of two papers. Candidates can choose an optional subject of their choice and interest from the list of subjects available on the website. Candidates who will pass the main examination will be called for the Personality Test.

3. Personality Test
The personality Test is a type of interview in which the candidate will have to answer different questions asked by the members of WBPSC. The Personality Test is conducted to check the decision-making, stress management skills, and personality of a candidate. The candidate will be given marks according to his response to the personality test.
A final merit list is prepared based on the main exam and personality test. Candidates who will have their names on the Merit List will be selected in WBCS Recruitment 2023.

WBCS 2023 Admit card
