Process of selection for ISRO Assistant Recruitment 2023
There will be four stages for the selection of assistant posts in ISRO. The candidates will be recruited for the assistant posts in ISRO once they qualify in these stages. These stages will consist of the following.
Written Examination: The written exam will check if the aspirant knows different subjects. Their aptitude will be tested with a paper of 200 marks which will have four sections. Each section will have questions from one of the four subjects: General English, General Intelligence and reasoning ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Knowledge.
They will have 2 hours (120 minutes) to complete the paper. There will be 1 mark for each correct answer, and a wrong answer will fetch a negative marking of -0.25 marks. Aspirants belonging to the General category will have to get 60% marks for qualification, and the reserved category candidates will have to get 50% marks. They will be qualified to appear for a skill test.
Skill Test: After getting qualified in the Written exam, the aspirants would be allowed to take a Skill test. This one-hour test will be for a total of 100 marks. The proficiency of candidates in computer applications like MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel will be checked in the skill test.
