India is celebrating its ‘Amrit Kal’ on completing 75 years of getting independence. On this wonderful occasion, the Government of India is going to host the G20 summit to make it more memorable. India took the G20 presidency on 1 December 2022 and will host the G20 Summit till 30 November 2023.
By hosting the G20 summit, we will display our capability, power, and strength to the world. The theme of G20 Sammelan 2023 is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which reflects ‘One Earth-One Family-One Future’. The theme is taken from a Maha Upanishad, which is a very ancient and historic text written in the Sanskrit language. With this theme, India wants to tell the World about the value of all living organisms – human, animal, plant, and microorganisms along with their significance and synchronization on the planet Earth for a better ecosystem. The G20 theme also tells one about their responsibilities as an individual and towards the nation to contribute to creating a cleaner and greener tomorrow.
The Logo of G20 Summit 2023 in India signifies all the colours of the Indian flag. The logo is made up of Saffron, White, Green, and Blue colour. In the G20 Logo, we can see the planet Earth and a lotus flower together. Lotus is the national flower of India and it tells us that there are options for growth amidst adversities.
From 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2023, various G20 Summit programs and meetings will be organised in different cities and states. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, every citizen is going to witness New India contributing to the world’s growth and development.

G20 Summit 2023 Schedule in India
