G20 Summit 2023 Schedule: It is an honor for India to lead the 18th edition of G20 Summit 2023. The G20 which is a group of 19 Nations and the European Union is an intergovernmental forum that works towards secure global financial stability. The G20 was formed in 1999 after the world economy was affected by financial crises. During these financial crises in the late 90s, Southeast Asia and East Asia faced major ups and downs. Today, the strength of the G20 can be understood by the fact that all the members of the G20 together represent 60% of the world’s total population, 75% of global trade, and 80% of the world’s total GDP. G20 Summit 2023 Schedule India

The first G20 Summit was organized in the USA in the year 2008. And now in the year 2023, the G20 18th edition will be held in India. Various groups of delegates and leaders from different countries will be a part of the G20 Summit 2023.

India is celebrating its ‘Amrit Kal’ on completing 75 years of getting independence. On this wonderful occasion, the Government of India is going to host the G20 summit to make it more memorable. India took the G20 presidency on 1 December 2022 and will host the G20 Summit till 30 November 2023.

By hosting the G20 summit, we will display our capability, power, and strength to the world. The theme of G20 Sammelan 2023 is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which reflects ‘One Earth-One Family-One Future’. The theme is taken from a Maha Upanishad, which is a very ancient and historic text written in the Sanskrit language. With this theme, India wants to tell the World about the value of all living organisms – human, animal, plant, and microorganisms along with their significance and synchronization on the planet Earth for a better ecosystem. The G20 theme also tells one about their responsibilities as an individual and towards the nation to contribute to creating a cleaner and greener tomorrow.

The Logo of G20 Summit 2023 in India signifies all the colours of the Indian flag. The logo is made up of Saffron, White, Green, and Blue colour. In the G20 Logo,  we can see the planet Earth and a lotus flower together. Lotus is the national flower of India and it tells us that there are options for growth amidst adversities. 

From 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2023,  various G20 Summit programs and meetings will be organised in different cities and states. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, every citizen is going to witness New India contributing to the world’s growth and development.

G20 Summit 2023 Schedule in India

India took the presidency of the G20 Summit 2023 during the Amrit Kaal Mahotsav. It’s a matter of pride for India and the countrymen to host such a significant event. During the year-long series of meetings under the G20 Summit, delegations from different countries will witness the rich heritage and culture of India from close.
